Extreme Robots Gloucester

Flippers and spinners, heavyweights and featherweights, drivers and roboteers, this place had it all. Some of us made the trip to Gloucester to watch Extreme Robots live, although it may have been an early, tired, four hour megabus trip, it was all worth it in the end. It was a thoroughly entertaining day and the crowd seemed to love it.

Speaking personally, as someone who has never been to a robot fighting event, I would recommend it, especially if you know nothing at all about it, as it is an engaging new experience. In addition to this we had the chance to go backstage and talk with the roboteers who spend a lot of time and money into this hobby.

They were all very passionate about this and varied from all ages, some of which brought their families and had them involved with the maintenance of the robot.

Overall it was a very entertaining day, particularly great for families, and I am looking forward to future events that this documentary will take us to.
