It's Alive!
Today, the crew and I saw our robot in full force after our director/presenter added the necessary wheels and dead man switch, as well as programming it to a remote control, now making it active.
In addition to this, we added a clear acrylic top to the robot so that you are able to see all of the wires, giving it a more rustic look. In the near future, we hope to customise it with some spray paint so that it looks eligible enough to represent our university, as well as being in fighting condition, ready for Sunday where she makes her debut fight at the Extreme Robots event in Maidstone.
For this, she must endure two fights, with time in-between to fix any maintenance problems that can arise in a robot-fighting match. Stay tuned for the blog about the whole event!
